Carlsbad Comprehensive Plan Update

The City of Carlsbad is hosting its first public meeting for the Comprehensive Plan update! You are invited to participate and share your vision for the future of Carlsbad.

When: Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM

Where: Council Chambers, 114 S. Halagueno Street

The meeting will be facilitated by the County’s consultant, Consensus Planning, and will include a discussion on the community’s vision for Carlsbad in the next 20 years. Each of the Comprehensive Plan chapters will be updated as part of the planning process, and will include Community Profile, Housing & Neighborhoods, Land Use, Economic Development, Infrastructure, Transportation, Community Services & Facilities, Hazard Mitigation, and Implementation.
